French Dressing

It could be argued that a French dressing is the most popular type of dressing on the market, but you should forget about the taste and focus on the fact that this dressing is high in calories. Typically, it has in the region of 160 calories per serving and if you have two servings of this dressing in a day, then it really is the equivalent of eating a small junk meal. It may be full of flavor, but it is clearly full of a whole host of things that you really do need to avoid.
Ken’s Steakhouse Chunky Blue Cheese

Blue cheese dressing may be a bit of a more acquired taste, but there is no doubting that it is crammed full of calories and is something that you should seriously consider avoiding. You are typically looking at up to 150 calories per serving and this version by Ken’s Steakhouse is certainly true to form. With this, you are looking at 150 calories along with 15g of fat per serving as well as 320mg of sodium and that is certainly too high for anybody that is serious about looking after their health. It may be in your best interest to look at other types of dressings and dropping blue cheese completely.

Marie’s Blue Cheese Vinaigrette

This is another blue cheese dressing and it is even worse than the version by Ken’s Steakhouse. With this, it has 160 calories per serving along with 17g of fat, but at least the sodium is lower at only 160mg per serving. Do not be fooled into thinking that the lower sodium level helps you because the calorie count is still too high and as for the fat content it is not exactly something that you should include in your diet.
